Speedsport are specialists in the field of driver management, media communications, race car preparation and corporate hospitality.
Former racing driver and team owner Mike O’Brien is the founder and managing director of the company and has a wealth of experience within the industry. Over the years Mike has shaped the careers of a number of top drivers. He has continued the long term management of British racing driver Darren Manning currently competing in the IRL series in America, Clio Cup racer Stefan Hodgetts and former Formula Ford Champion and European F3 Open Vice Champion Callum MacLeod.
We are also recognised for our experience in preparing race-winning cars and undertake all aspects of race preparation, on all types of cars from our workshops at Silverstone. We have won races and championship all the way up the motor racing ladder from Britcar to Formula 3. This provides us with the perfect building blocks for creating Speedsport Drive.
Recently we have also expanded to provide corporate days for larger groups. Each client gets to experience the full thrill of driving the circuit in our race prepared Civic Type R alongside high speed passenger rides from one of our expert instructors.
